Many individuals have the power to consider emergency release and/or to decrease our use of detention during this crisis. They include:

• Local sheriffs

• Local judges

• President Donald J. Trump

YOU CAN HELP by calling these individuals and expressing your support for emergency measures to protect vulnerable people in our corrections systems.

Before you call, come up with one sentence saying what you would like the person to do. For a list of emergency measures that each of them can take, see the buttons in the box to the right.
